This exquisite piece has fabulous complex artwork that completely surrounds the entire metal area of this cuff bangle bracelet! This bracelet very much resembles the brown plastic cabochon necklace, earrings and ring set designed by Larry Vrba in 1973. Necklace and variation of earrings featured on page 93 of "Inside the Jewelry Box" by Ann Pitman. Wow! Known as the "Jewels of Fantasy" in the bijou world, this piece of art is no exception to Miriam Haskell's masterpieces! Nature, as always was used as a reference in the creations of her wonderful glorious works and Miriam certainly created this authentic Egyptian revival piece with careful finely detailed etched floral patterns in the gilted brass with three high relief earthy carmel marbled huge stone like cabochon adornments. Some scratching can be seen on the interior of this fabulous piece and the large cabochon in the center has 2 visible scratches, BUT WHO CARES! What a PIECE!! The findings for the cabochons are riveted onto the brass bracelet and the stone cabochons are prong set and because of the size they do move a bit. This entire bracelet shows the quality patina that Haskell antique jewelry pieces are so well known for. Signed Miriam Haskell on an oval cartouche on the inside and complete with a safety chain (it needs to be re-attached) so you do not suffer the heart break of losing such a valuable and wonderful antique piece! Solid Brass with gilt finish. What an interesting and fabulous piece of Miriam's, and a must for any rare jewelry collector! You are purchasing a rare antique piece of jewelry please expect some imperfections. That said, this is really a wonderful piece and for its age it is In Excellent Vintage Condition.
